Based in the beautiful county of Rutland you will find us nestled away in the heart of South Luffenham village. We are only 3 miles from Rutland Water and between 6-9 miles from 3 beautiful old market towns of Stamford, Uppingham and Oakham.

As a family we took The Boot Inn over in August 2019 and the  pub has undergone an extensive refurbishment.  It was our mission to bring back a traditional pub that families could enjoy.

Chef, Jamie Knowles, has worked in kitchens since leaving school and did most of his training at a Michelin star restaurant. He left the Bull and Swan in Stamford where he was the Head Chef to pursue a dream to have his own kitchen.  Jamie has managed to offer high quality pub classics to enjoy at affordable prices. He will regularly put something a little bit different  on the specials board so you can enjoy his flair and passion for food. 

You can sit by an open fire in the winter or in our beer garden in the summer. The friendly locals are always up for a chat at the bar too! If you don’t fancy a game of pool or darts there is a games cupboard to raid.  You might even join us for a traditional pub quiz that is run fortnightly.

Our accommodation is quirky, stylish and we have three rooms with a shared bathroom and one room en-suite. 

If you are looking for comfort, a friendly welcome, delicious food and drinks in a beautiful part of the country, where you can also bring your well behaved dog you have found just the place.
